The role of The Australian Lung Foundation is to:
  • promote lung health;
  • elevate public awareness of the symptoms of lung disease;
  • promote early diagnosis;
  • provide support for all those affected by lung disease;
  • advocate for further research and screening into lung disease; and
  • facilitate medical and scientific research into lung disease.

Lung diseases that are our focus include lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), orphan lung diseases, respiratory infectious diseases and chronic cough.

Your support will assist us to reduce the impact of lung disease on patients, carers, their families and our community.

Online ForumThe Lung Foundation has launched an Online Forum to promote the exchange of support, understanding, hope and practical information between Australians who live with lung cancer and/or people who are dedicated to improving the quality of life of lung cancer patients. Registration on the Foundation website is required to make posts to the Forum.
