Interstitial and Orphan Lung Disease Day - 24th November 2008

The Australian Lung Foundation has designated November, 'Lung Health Awareness Month' and for the first time, is recognising interstitial and orphan lung diseases with a specific day of its own.

On Monday 24th November, we will be issuing a Press Release promoting the register of interstitial and rare lung diseases being developed by The Australian Lung Foundation's PIVOT group.

The Registry has been christened ARNOLD (Australasian Registry Network for Interstitial and Orphan Lung Disease) and aims to capture the incidence and prevalence of these conditions - there is currently no data of this nature in Australasia.

Full Press Release available here:  pdfPress_Release 115.39 Kb.
